But we have to make it individually for all the datasets.

Re: Warning about Dataset migrated/archived.

Realistically, the message merely indicates the job scanner cannot identify the attributes of the data set since it is migrated / archived. Since the data set will be restored to disk once the job executes, the message is a VERY minor message and you should, as you have been advised, ignore the mes...

Warning about Dataset migrated/archived.

Hi, Many a times I have observed that when I do a JEM for a JCL to test the JCL before executing it, I see a message like this: CATALOG INDICATES DATA SET MIGRATED/ARCHIVED I have been told that it's just a warning message and that it is of not much concern. Is there a way I can remove this message?...

What is the TSO Option to reset a previous command.

Hi,

When I start a new session and do a swap list, it is showing me a message

Code: Select all

' COMMAND START NOT FOUND ***.
This is happening only when I type any command and swap. I want to reset a previously typed command from TSO. What option should I enable or disable to reset it? :unknown:

Yes, this is what I'd like to do. Though I doubt if the site support will help much in this as this is for my own testing and not a production requirement...

DOS script and a Job execution.

Hi, I need to execute a Test Job in Test region as part of a Testing. This is an adhoc request and need not implement in Prod. I'm thinking if I can write a script to execute this Job using a BAT file or something using DOS script? DOS is not the only solution, however, I think I've read a use of su...
