if they have access to your dataset EXEC PDS.NAME(MYREXX) then just have them execute the same command as you do

I started back in 1971 with IBM 360/20 and continues thru System/Z. I had been a system programmer for over 25 years, work for IBM in the design and coding of the Image Plus system, Alyeska pipeline service company and wrote the SCADA system. been in my present job for 17 years.

PREFIX has never been defined as a HLQ, and I would hope that it never would be. most all system have been setup with Production and Development file each with there only HLQ and setup with the proper authorizations. The HLQ that you tried using is more than likely a PRODUCTION file HLQ and you are not authorized to created any Production files, as stated use your user id for creating files.
