Thanks for the warm welcome. It's nice to be able to 'reminisce' about the old golden times, even if just for a short time. I'm not sure I am experienced enough to be able to contribute much to your forum? My experiences were a long time ago now, and probably don't have many similarities with today'...

In the days when I first started out there wasn't anything other than Mainframes, there were no Personal Computers, no Internet, and the Mainframes typically had memory around the very low hundreds of Kb. If anyone was interested in the 'New Technology' of the day it was either Mainframe or nothing!...
