Big-data is fad but they have a long list of tools now which are way different than mainframes and it all sound like a very good effort to learn it all. But thanks for your words.

Hi, I think for writing records into a new BDAM file we have to initialize it, I tried initializing BDAM data set by inserting and deleting records using FILE-AID and executed the program but it fails with SYNAD error.
