Why would it be surprising? It was not designed to be CALLed from anywhere, so why would you think it would just up and work if it were not documented to do so? I made two mistakes. I thought it was doable. It is surprising to know that we can not call easytrieve from COBOL.

Does anyone know how to call Easytrieve from COBOL?
If you can tell me how to convert Easytrieve program to COBOL, it will also help. If there is a tool/utility to do that?
